Nursery is being started today!
We live in an old house that only has one electrical outlet in each room. My cousin (an electrician) is coming over today to run some electric around the walls of the nursery so there will be an outlet on each wall.
My FIL FINALLY gave us a date that he can start painting - July 24th - the day after my birthday  
The furniture is scheduled to be delivered on the 27th
My shower is this coming Sunday 
I finally feel like it's all starting to come together. I can't wait to see if it comes out how I have it pictured in my head!

Yay!!! You are on your way to getting the nursery going. I am sure you will be thrilled once the room is painted & the furniture is here! That truly makes it so real (at least for me it did)

woo hoo!
so exciting.
We started this weekend! Emptying the room. DH removed all the old molding.
We went and bought all new moulding & crown molding. I was so excited and said "look how far we got."
DH looked at me and said "look how far YOU got, you're done. That was the easy part, now I have to do all the actual work. "

I gave him the date of the furniture delivery and told him that I REFUSED to have the furniture in the nursery while he was painting.
