How do you get DC to nursery school if you are working???

I dont see DD ever being able to go since my mom watches her and my nephew and will then have my other DC. She can't take 3 kids out in the car to go to nursery school for 2 hours.

Re: Nursery School and working moms

That's why I had to find a full day nursery school with before and after care. My MIL watches my twins too and there was no way she could take them to pick up DS (I could have dropped him off). He only goes 2x a week but it's full day and it works out fine. I adjusted my hours a little bit to coincide with their hours but I drop him off at 8 and pick him up at 5:30. If DH gets off work early, he'll pick him up sooner (school ends at 4).

Another option I was considering for a shorter program was dropping DS off in the morning, taking a super early lunch at 11 and rushing to pick him up and bring him home. I work somewhat close and while it would have been a pain, I was thinking about it.

I plan on finding a full time nursery with before and after care. Two hours a couple days a week simply is not an option. If push comes to shove and I can't find a place that will work, DS will stay in daycare until kindergarten.

We're doing full day nursery-school too...and it's located right behind my work building, so it's even BETTER (though my work hours may have to slightly be altered to meet their schedule).

I'd definitely look into full-day programs...either 5 days a week or 2-3 days a week.

I only work PT so unless I stop working, I plan on keeping DD in daycare the two days I work - they have a great curriculum.

You don't have to send your child to nursery school.

I work PT -DD goes to preschool 2 days a week right now. One of the days I am off and I drop off and pick up. The other day her dad drives her to school and my sister picks her up.
