Nursery school/ Pre-K for 2 year olds in Levittown/Bethpage/Hicksville areas

I can't speak from personal experience, but I have heard good things about Kiddie Junction in Levittown.

Great question! Also, if you know the cutoff dates that would be great. DS's birthday is 11/25, the cutoff for Kiddie Junction is 10/1, so I am still looking.

St. Gregory's Nursery School on Hicksville Rd in Seaford has a 2yr old program. DD goes there (started when she was 3 1/2 though) and she loves it.
Their cutoff is Dec. 1st.

This is a really dumb question. Are they teaching any religion to the kids? We are not religious at all and DH is not thrilled with the idea of sending DS to a school at a church or temple.

No, none at all. We are Catholic and St. Gregory's is a Greek Orthodox church. I was concerned as well. I love that it's a small school. Class rooms are nice, a decent size and very clean. You can go to the office one day and ask to look around while classes are going on. The director will take you through the classrooms. My daughter has 16 kids in her class and 3 teachers. The teachers are soooo nice.

I just started my DD at first step, first day today and she loved it. I know a lot of parents who have sent their children there and have only heard good stuff about it. Trinty Luthern in Hicksville is also nice I use to see a child there and it seemed like a nice program. There is also Scope they run a program out of the Salisbury center in Westbury and another one at a school in levittown off Jerusalem ave. I have also heard good things from parents who have their child in Kiddie junction on Wolcott ave in Levittown

DD is in the 2 y.o. program and we really like it. I don't think it is greek orthodox though, i think it is eastern european orthodox...not that it really matters, IMO. There are about 10-12 kids in the class with 1 "teacher" and 2 assistants. they aren't religious per se, but they say a little "prayer" before snack, I am told. It is something like "God is good, God is great, thank you for the food we eat". They made Christmas crafts and a dreidel during Hanukah. Parking is kind of tricky though.
