Nursery school teacher gift amt...(added question...where to?)

Getting gift certificates..not sure of the amount!

My DD (3.5 yrs) went 2 days a week for 2.5 hrs...so no where near full time.

There is a teacher and an teacher's assisstant..

Is $25 and $15 good for each?

or $20 and $15 good as well?

or $20 and $20 - even amt more appropriate!?!?

decisions? Decisions?

-Macy's
-A Restaraunt - chain like chilis or something?!?! That I can buy at Walgreens

I was going to post the same thing today! My DS is 3 went 5 days for 2.5 hrs. I was thinking of doing a GC for $20 each to DD. There are no assistants but, he has 3 teachers and, I was going to get one for the principal too. WOndering if this is enough $$.

DD went to nursery at that age and she went 3-4 mornings per week for 2 1/2 hours. I have $25 per teacher at the end of the year - there was five teachers.

thanks ladies...so you think I should get the teacher and the TA the same amt?!?! I dont mind..I know she probably does just as much!!!!

Just not used to this - I worked in a poor neighborhood in Queens..So I got junk from my kids every year so I have no idea what a good gift is!!!

before I had DS I was nursery TA, me and the teacher always get the same gifts! a $15 giftcard for both is plenty!
