Nursery Schools in Malverne/Lynbrook/ RVC area??
Hi All - I'm new here...And I am looking for a nursery school program for my 2 year old for September in the Malverne/Lynbrook/ RVC area or close to it.... Any suggestions???
Also, what do you think about putting a 2 year old in nursery school - should I wait until she is 3?
I just don't know what to do!

Holy Trinity in RVC has a two year old program (2 day a week drop-off for older 2's or mommy & me one day a week for younger 2's).

I used to work as a TA at Rosa Lee Young Childhood Center on N. Village Ave. in RVC and I loved it there. It's such a great place! They have a toddler program that starts at 18 months. I definitely think 2 is a good age to start pre-school. They don't usually work so much on academics at that point, but more like separation, socialization, etc. Here's their website

Thanks so much! I was actually just looking at the Rosa Lee young school because I work right now the block at Mercy Hospital. Do you know if they also do daycare - maybe for 1 day per week?

Hm I can't remember exactly- I haven't worked there since 2001! I know they an after-school daycare program for school-age children, but I don't remember what the deal was for younger ones. Sorry!

Other ones in RVC to check out are Jacob's Ladder and United! Both are great as is Holy Trinity which Laura already mentioned

and FYI...Rosa Lee Young is booked until November! and they only do full weeks for day care...
Back to square one - but I am going to check out your other recommendations! Much appreciated!

I am in Malverne and we send DS to Grace Lutheran in Malverne and DD is going to Grace Playschool in Lynbrook.
I have also heard good things about Jacob's Ladder and Mimi's Creative Kids in Lynbrook
