Nursery Water

Does anyone else use this? I'm not sure if it's just a waste of money, or if the regular spring water is just the same.

Re: Nursery Water

It's pretty much the same as a gallon of spring water. But, sometimes, the store I get it at doesn't always have it on the shelves. So, I'm assuming if you don't buy the nursery water, you need to boil the others for a minute or so.

Re: Nursery Water

i use it. It's only 1.00 a bottle at Target. However, my ped did say that running the water through the Brita filter is just fine. Now that my DS is getting a little older, I thin that's what I will do.

Re: Nursery Water

Nursery water has fluoride in it, bottled water doesn't. I don't use Nursery water because I don't think DD needs the fluoride.

Same here. Between the vitamins that they make you use with the flouride, and then the flouride in the nursery water, I'd rather boil my water, even my filtered water.

Re: Nursery Water

my ped always said NOT to use the nursery water, it has flouride in it and too much floride can cause florosis. We used to boil tap water and then just leave it on the counter in a covered pitcher.
