Nursery Window Treatment Question...

Do you guys think I need panels along with a valance? I am keeping the existing blinds. Sorry you really cant see the windows in these pics - but it is all I have!

This is room with the previous owners stuff in it. I am keeping the existing wall treatments (chair rail, wallpaper on bottom half). We are removing the flower border up on top and are painting it a similar color. We also replaced the rug with a tan colored berber.





I have this bedding and I bought the valances. I like how the panels look with them, but not sure they are necessary. What do you think? If I got the panels, I would get them in the green gingham.

I got similar blinds, white wooden ones and I did a valance. I don't think I'm doing panels...and the woman that came to the house for the window treatments said she thought it might too much w/panels. If anything, I may do a sheer white panel, like if I want to keep the blinds open w/o the neighbors seeing in.
