Nursing bra recommendations for big breasts
I am looking for some recommendations for nursing bras for big breasted women. I am currently in a 40DD. I have heard that the no underwire are the most comfortable, but do they give enough support? Please recommend yours - thanks!

I think I went to a 42F if I'm not mistaken.... I wore the Goddess bras, and I got them from a bra store - Georgette's in Hicksville....
They were WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI - you should not wear underwire bras while nursing. You can find a lot of good one's out there without

I used these from Gap... they are made by medala and sold elsewhere, but gap had free returns on maternity stuff, so i just ordered a bunch of sizes and returned what didnt work....

Re: Nursing bra recommendations for big breasts
I wore the medilla no underwire ones. I was a 38DDD while nursing. I know they made 40DDD too. I am not sure if they went any bigger. I loved them. They were by far the most comfortable of all of the ones that I tried. ETA; I had the Bravado ones as well - the white one they have on the main page. I will say that I preferred the Medilla ones because they were much more supportive. You could leave one side undone (I forgot more times than I can count) and I did not feel it at all. I would ony realize it when I went to nurse DS the next time. I got the medilla ones at BBB. I got the Bravada ones at a specialty lactation store in Chatham, NJ.

i wear underwire bras and i have no problems the issue is proper fit - if they are too tight, you can get a clogged milk duct.
that being said i DO prefer the seamless softcup bras from medela - they make them in DD sizes and do not have an underwire. i am actually a 34DDD but i fit into the 34DD because they are stretchy.
