nutritionist recommendation....
I had a baby 6 weeks ago and immediately lost 25 lbs. I have been stuck here now for 3 weeks and am ready to make a change in my life. I have always been an avid gym goer, but that ended during pregnancy unfortunately. I am currently searching for a nutritionist in Nassau County, preferably mineola/garden city area...
Also, does anyone have any experience with insurance covering the cost of a nutritionist?

my GP recommended that I go to a nutritionist, but when I called they said that only diabetics are ever really covered by insurance

Linda Fiveson. I've heard great things about her...my friend used her and loved her. I don't have her contact info but I think she has a website.

Thanks.. I asked my dr.. and he also recommended linda fivesen.. I will cal her tuesday.. i cant wait.. im excited to take the plunge and make this comitment...

I think she is moving because a fire burned down her old office. Let us know how you like her! I really want to go too! Good luck

Callng her tomorrow.. I need to get back in shape.. this baby got the best of me!!! And I want to be healthy and a role model for her... time to get it in gear!
