NY Cares Winter Wishes

I keep forgetting to post about my letters!!

A few years, I've gotten teens asking for Seven jeans or Uggs or Timberlands or $100, etc so I wanted to gush over the request I got this year from a 14 year old girl:

"A card making kit, rubber stamps and maybe some stickers too"

"and if it could snow early for my birthday"

It was just such a breath of fresh air for it not to be a greedy or trendy request!!


And my child letter was from a six year old girl who wanted a play kitchen and a chef's hate


Makes me feel good!

Awww, that's so cute she wants snow for her birthday.


I get letters through a different organization and I had one where a 9 year old boy was asking for a lava lamp to put in his room because his younger brother is afraid of the dark.
