NYC - Red Light Tickets...
hubby got a ticket for driving past a red light and caught on camera...in my car.
Needless to say, we just got the notice, and he threw it out in the garbage...I want to pay online, but it requires the ticket number...I searched and searched, and to no avail can I pay the ticket online w/out the ticket number.
Anyone have experience with this? I really want to pay and be done with it - don't want to incur any fees!
Is there any way of locating the ticket number w/out the actual ticket?

Call up 311 and tell them what happened. They will transfer you to the violation department and they might be able to help you.

Can you plug in your plate # and see if there are any outstanding tickets?
ETA: I just looked and see that it doesn't give you that option. Did you try entering your plate # in the parking tickert section to see if any outstanding tickets pop up there?

I did both - fortunately, no parking tickets that I don't know about!

My DH has an account for paying tickets. When he pulls it up, it lists all the outstanding. I believe you can look it up by plate # too.
(He gets a few parking tickets with his job...  )

Yes put in your license plate and you will pull up any violations

nope doesn't work.
I did call 3-1-1 and they gave me the number to the department of finance, who looked it up for me, and I paid!

Sorry your right, You can look up a regular parking ticket by the plate, Not Red Light ticket. DH gets both unfortunately.
