NYC - Things to do with little one's?
We are actually coming up to NY/LI next weekend for the first time in over 5 years. For one of the days that we're up there we were thinking of going into the city. I'm not sure if I'm that daring yet, but would really like to take them. What is there that we can do with them? We haven't been in the city for years and years and we just don't remember what we can do? Last time we were there we were dating! LOL! Thanks!
Or, if you honestly think it's a bad idea all together, please let me know!
They're almost 6 and 3. Thanks!

All great ideas. To put location in perspective, Central Park zoo and Victorian Gardens (which is adorable and surprisingly not that crowded when I've gone even on weekends) aren't that far from each other in the park and doable in one day. There's also rowboats or toy mechnical boats that you can rent and then there's a carousel and tons of playgrounds. Dylan's Candy Bar is walkable from the park and it's also on the same block as Serendipity if you wanted to do lunch/dinner there first. If Serendipity is crowded as it frequently is, there's a Patsy's pizza across the street. HTH!
