What is the difference between a basal termometer and a regular one? Might be a dumb question, but I have no clue.

Re: NYC ladies-Basal thermometers?
I got mine at Walmart. Not sure if that helps bc I don't think there are any in the city. Good Luck!
A basal is supposed to be a little more sensitive as opposed to a regular one and takes your waking temp in the am. Most go out two decimal places as opposed to one.

Usually you can find the basal thermometers, right next to the pregnancy tests, and ovulation kits :)

SO funny you posted this. I went to two Duane Reade's TODAY and couldn't find one! I saw one for $12.49 on Drugstore.com though.
