Where is a good place (preferably UES) to have it done? All of the nail places in my neighborhood do it, but I'm thinking they aren't the best idea. TIA

Rosangela Spa on Lexington between 81st and 82nd.
I've never had a brazilian from her (Rosangela) before (or ever, too scared), but I've had other services and she's a pleasant lady, meticulous and efficient. Her prices are reasonable too.

I went to Completely Bare, and Bliss, and I recommend Bliss 100%. The lavender wax they use doesn't hurt like regular wax, and I've had nothing but great experience at Bliss. I recommended it to 3 of my friends and they keep going back.

I've been to Dorit Baxter and Completely Bare. I would rate them both about the same except DB is cheaper.
