NYC movie theaters near Penn Station/Times Square
The only one that I've gone to (and love) is near Lincoln Center. DH and I are taking DS to see Rio on Saturday so we were hoping for a really clean, nice, somewhat newer theater. Any suggestions? I'd rather not have to travel up to 66th/68th since we will be coming from the Javits Center

THere is the AMC theater on 234 West 42nd Street. ed: its between 7th and 8th Ave

There is one on 23rd bt 7th and 8th but closer to 8th.
There's one on 34th bt 7th and 8th.
There are 2 on 42nd bt 7th and 8th. They're across the street from one another.

I like the Kip's Bay one on 32nd and 2nd. I used to go that theater a lot before I had kids. I don't think it is as crowded as the ones in Time Square. All the ones uptown are really old.
