Here is an email that we got from work regarding street closures:


The Major League Baseball All Star Procession will impact the area surrounding 1155 6th Avenue beginning this evening at 10 p.m. and continuing until Tuesday evening, July 15th.



In order to minimize any inconvenience, please note the following street closures:



40th Street between Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Monday until 4 p.m. Tuesday;
6th Avenue will have the three western lanes closed between 40th Street and 58th Street from 12 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday;
6th Avenue will have the three eastern lanes closed between 40th Street and 58th Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday;
58th Street between 6th Avenue and Plaza Street will be closed from midnight Monday until 6 p.m. Tuesday;
40th Street between 6th Avenue and Broadway will be closed Tuesday from noon until 4 p.m.;
47th and 48th Streets between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue will be closed Tuesday from noon until 4 p.m.


In order to avoid the anticipated streets crowds, the Building Management is requesting we use the 44th Street entrance.



We are currently working with our Car Service providers on provisions to ease our needs during this period; a message will follow shortly from Karen Grezner.
