FH went to one of those open calls that the city loves to have - it was for queens. he was hired on the spot after an interview (this was in the middle of august a few years ago)

i signed a commitment letter at a job fair in march, but then mass mailed my resume to all of the schools in the "better neighborhoods". i got a ton of calls the last week in august and got a job right away in a great school.
