NYC Teachers and New Eval System
Is it true we are "forced" to go to some workshops or do online work to show proof that we're contributing in some professional development that counts toward a component in our new rating? If so, what's some easy ways we can do that this summer? Anyone know what website to go to?

You should never be forced into doing HW outside the hours of the school day. PD should be given during the school day or offered as paid per session.

I haven't heard about that- I have my paperwork with the evaluation info in my "school bag" which is currently in the back of my closet bc I'm too disgusted to look at it, lol. I can dig it out and look!
