NYC teachers when are you going to your schools?
I was going to go tomorrow but I am not sure now when it will be open.

not until Thursday!!!
I won't go in any earlier than I have to. I also have a student from last year who I have kept in touch with all summer ( email) who is dying to help me decorate on Tuesday. So I really just need to put up backing paper and wait for her. She is so sweet!!

Thursday though my AP e-mailed us to say we could start coming in tomorrow if we wanted to. I will be very annoyed if she doesn't give us time on thursday or friday to decorate our classrooms.....

I am going in tomorrow... I am getting paid per-session for a pd. I am going to. So, I figure- why waste the gas I will just set up. Then, I will go Tuesday so I hope I don't have to go in Wednesday. But like the OP said, I am not banking on Thursday and Friday- its normally like paperwork/workshops/ - all that fun stuff-

I moved rooms at the end of the school year so I will be going in Tuesday to take inventory and make sure my stuff did not get thrown out. I had to leave a lot on the floor b/c the other woman was not out of the room yet (not that I expected her to be).
I'll be in again on Wed. to decorate.

Not till Thursday- I am moving rooms and I can't do anything until the teacher who was in my future room moves out.
I also would not go unless I was getting per session- I feel like I do too much on my own time and it's not appreciated.

Thursday!
There's no point for me in going in any earlier because we don't get our class schedules until Thurs or Fri, so I have no idea what I'll be teaching yet or what room I'll be in... so I'd be going in early for nothing. Thursday it is!!!
