OB-GYN recs for Ronkonkoma area
I prefer a woman, but I'd go to a male if he was highly recommended.

I'm not Pg but my OB/GYN is the BEST-thers 2--It's Personal Womens Care on Terry Rd in Smithtown(just south of 347). Dr. Somers is the serious, sweet one. Dr. Halpert is funny and down to earth. They have been kind and compassionate and are awesome at calling back.

I go to Suffolk OB/GYN in Patchogue. There are men and women there to pick.

I second them!!!
Dr Sommers was so compassionate in handling my preggo hormone break down when it was decided that I would have to have a c-section due to my daughter's unusual position. I was fine when I left the office and then had a huge break down. He called me back and spent near an hour on the phone talking to me and making me feel better. The RN Pat is amazing. I called months after having my daughter with a question. She knew who I was- no she didn't have my chart because she answered right then and there and asked me how she was doing and how I was doing from my c-section. She is AMAZING. I love that woman.
The only negative I have found is that you tend to wait a little longer to see Dr Halpert but I am a BIG BIG BIG Dr. Sommers fan.
They deliver at St Catherine's and Stony Brook.

I go to Contemporary Women's Care in Smithtown. The address is 48 Route 25a in Smithtown. Its right in the St. Catherines Hospital parking area. It a building right next to the hospital, which I love. I am not pg yet but I will be delievering at that hospital when I finally get pg.
I see Dr. Joyce Rubin. She is so great. Really sweet and treats you like a girlfriend. You never get that rushed feeling with her.
