OB/GYN Recs in nassau please.
hey ladies,
i am looking for a new OB/GYN, some that is caring, has a good rep, and that is there for you, like is available? any help is appreciated.

i know of a good one right accross from the hospital on Hemp tpke.. new island..
the doctors name is ... Dr. Zandieh.. he has a good reputaion.. i was going to use him.. but had to use my sisters doctor being we both have IC.

LI womens health in Bellmore -- Merrick Rd & Newbride Rd (I think they also have an office in Garden City)
They were always very nice and there are a lot of different Dr's in the office so you can always get someone.

Dr. Katzner at Winthrop Women's Contemporary Care, Mineola. They take an assortment of insurances and I personally think she's awesome.

He's awesome...I've been going to him forever. He's affliated with Winthrop Hospital.

I use to go to Dr. Julianna Opatich on Hempstead Tpke. in Bethpage. (Across the street from the Burger King near New Island Hospital) She was wonderful. It was just sometimes hard to get an appt. quick because it was just her and not a group of doctors in the practice but I thought she was great!!! I only stopped seeing her because she stopped taking my insurance and then I moved out to Stony Brook.

I use them too, but stay away from Dr.Philips- not a good bedside manner. All the other dr's there are good.

Polina Kagen. She's affiliated with South Nassau Hospital and her office is above the Nassau Teachers Credit Union in Oceanside on Merrick Road. I actually found her through LI Weddings.

There is a whole practice of doctors there. I have been very happy with them! The dr.s and the office staff are very nice!
I see Dr. Friedel but if you want a woman you can see Dr. Lee.
Also - some of my friends use

Dr. Sanders was recommended but I think I was told that all of the doctors in that practice are good!

Preferred Women's Health in Woodbury. They also have an office in Great Neck. I use Dr. Prince (male) but if you are looking for a female, Dr. Morris-Rush is wonderful. If you need a high risk doc as well as a regular OB, Dr. Bergman (male) is great.
They have always been very accommodating and understanding. They helped me through a lot when I was PG with my DS. Their number is (516) 496-3900. Oh, they are affiliated with North Shore Hospital in Manhasset.

I 2nd tis one! I use Dr. Prince also!! I had Dr. Bergman one time when Dr. prince wasn't in. Very wonderful!
