OB question- Great neck obgyn and klein/nimaroff/alkasab
i am pregnant with #3- complete suprise. i posted thsi on pregnancy, looking for some opinions.
anyhow, i am thinking of switching OB form the one i used for my other kids. basically debating between these two groups.
anyone want ot give any feedback? I would use Dr rifkin at great neck obgyn, not sure who i would use in the other group.
i did hear that great neck ob gyn has had some problems since klein and nimaroof lef,t not sure if htats true.
if you use the klein/nimaroff/alksab practice, who would you recommend?

I see Dr. Alkasab and I love her!!! Klein and Nimaroff are also really good but I didn't get to see them too often during my pregnancy. There are 2 other doctors at that practice - Dr. Cho and Dr. Maloney.
I strongly recommend Dr. Alkasab. She is very knowledgable, caring and supportive. Dr. Cho is also really good. She delivered DD and we had a very smooth delivery. She really took her time with us and was very supportive. Dr. Nimaroff, I only saw once. It is tough to get an appointment with him. I saw Dr. Klein several times and he was very helpful and knowledgable - but he also is very busy and I felt as if he didn't have as much time to respond to questions/concerns as the other doctors. Dr. Maloney, I believe does not deliver but she is also very good and supportive. Dr. Klein and Dr. Alkasab delivererd several of my friends' babies and my friends were very satisfied with their level of care.
I am very satisfied with their practice. Their office is immaculate and their nurses & office staff are so friendly as well.

I think Dr Maloney used to be a part of their old group a while back she is just a GYN - not an OB I think.
Who is Dr. Cho? What is his/her full name? Can you give me some more info on Dr Cho or Chu?
I am looking for a local Ob/GYN group and used to use Dr. Klein at his old group - but I hadn't heard good things about the new office (staff not the doctors). How do you find them? Klein and Nimeroff are both excellent doctors so I would like to go back to them- but I heard about the new office and I wasn't sure.

I go to Great Neck.
LOVE them. The staff is wonderful, the doctors are great. Very good bedside manner and are there to help with ANYTHING 24/7. When i was pregnant I would put a call in for an OB and would get a call back just a few mins later. They are so caring and supportive and are not pushy with anything.
Dr. Rifkin delivered my DD and he was SOOOOOO great. I really was happy he was there to make my first child experience such a great one.
Dr. Sadaty is another one of my favs there!

I go to Great Neck OBGYN and I LOVE them. Dr. Rifkin is my primary doctor. I also LOVE Dr. Kaufman. I have nothing bad to say about them!

Dr. Alkasab is so nice, friendly, and knowledgable. I feel extremly comfortable with her. The office is very clean, and the nursing staff is very professional. I highly recommend her!

I love Dr. Nimaroff, he delivered my children and he is very knowledgable and likeable. I used to be with the other office and Dr. Rifkin and Dr. Sadaty were both great too.

Dr. Klein was my primary OB and I also saw Dr. Alkasab a lot (Klein was on vacation at the end of my pregnancy, I had a lot of complications so I saw Alkasab frequently). Dr. Nimaroff delivered my twins, he is mostly in the hospital and not in the office very much. I had a great experience and have no complaints. I plan to stay with the practice and will continue to see Alkasab now I think.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Rifkin, Dr. Sadaty and Dr. Kaufman. I saw all three doctors fro DS. Dr. Sadaty delivered me, Dr. Kaufman saw me in the hospital and Dr. Rifkin did my D & C recently.

I saw all of the Dr.'s you mentioned when I was pregnant (when they were all a part of Great Neck OB/GYN). I really didn't care for Dr. Nimaroff (impersonal) or Dr. Klein (wacky) but I had always loved Dr. Rifkin. He wound up delivering my twins - really listened to me and worked with me to achieve a vaginal birth even when I was really close to getting a c-section. He is just so warm & caring. I will never leave Dr. Rifkin's office, even though it is a hike for me.

I go to great neck obgyn...I saw dr.Kaufman mostly throughout my pregnancy until the end when I started to meet the others...and dr. rifkin was there when I went into labor until I got to 7cm and Dr. Sadaty was there for the rest and the delivery. I like all of them. All the sono's are done in the office too.

Klein delivered  #1 (when he was still with the practice). I LOVE LOVE him.
Dr Kaufman delivered 10 weeks early and saved their lives. I am forever grateful to him. I cannot express it enough.
