Obama girls GOT the H1N1 vaccine last week
As reported by Fox News:
and
as reported by the White House
Previous news articles posted yesterday were both written October 8, 2009, and the girls got it last week (at the same time as it was made available to other DC schoolchildren).
So I guess we can really learn a lot about the Obamas' intentions from outdated news!
Also, Obama CLAIMS to be environmentally aware, and he hasn't even bought either of his daughters a Hybrid car yet. Can you believe it? The hypocrisy.

I'm glad someone posted it if for nothing more an update on the last topic.
Anyway I suspect maybe they posted under a fake name b.c some people on the boards have very aggressive stances towards certain topics and they might have just wanted to put the info out there rather than being attacked or get into a debate. But I could very well be wrong...

They did get the shot very recently. NY Times
DC area kids are getting the shots now too, so I don't have an issue with the girls getting the shots. I actually wish that the President and FL were getting them too- they are waiting till all the priority groups go.

I see this as another debate thread, b/c it was posted in a sarcastic manner vs educational one. (esp the last part). I am all for the facts on these topics Iso I surely was glad to see the story posted. But overall, this thread/original post seems more drama related by the statements made about Obama's car choice. Whatever, hopefully the facts help someone else on the fence decide (if thats what some people need to feel better about the vaccine). Doesnt influence me though, I never cared what Obama was doing one bit re the flu shots.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood what I was saying I wasn't commenting one way or the other and in general I stay out of these convos completely I was just putting out there why someone might post under a false name. Actually I have yet to see any educational threads posted yet - all of them in one way or another become a debate, which is good in order to make an informed decision you need to look at all angles of a topic - but as someone who doesn't support Obama I could really care less whether he vaccinates his children - personally I think it is horrible that they report it at all - his daughters' medical history I don't believe should be public record they are not the president. But that is another thread and another discussion all together. The only thing I do think is that whether something is pro or anti I believe it should be presented correctly so people can take credible info and use it to help them make their personal decision. I do think a lot of what I see posted is inaccurate or comes from unreliable sources. That goes for any topic not just vaccinations etc.
Etd to add yes it was posted with a sarcastic tone - but after the last thread got very nasty I'm sure that "set" the tone of this thread.
