OBGYN recommendations for Winthrop?
Hello,
I am new to Nassau NY and newly pregnant (5 1/2 weeks). I want to deliver at Winthrop and went by the hospital yesterday. I got recommendations for these doctors and practices. Can you give me some feedback? Women's Contemporary Care (the house doctors, my friend went to them, and she said they were disorganized when she was making appointments, had to wait for long periods at her appointments, BUT she has a healthy baby girl.) The other recommendations I got are: Dr. Paul Byrne, Dr. Gary Levine and the practice of Rosenberg, Cafaro & Miller. Any info you can share (good or bad) would be great. THANKS LADIES!! - Katie

i go to levine's practice... the long island womens health care group.. i see velderama and also see nodelman... they are great...
located on mineola blvd, right near the hospital, next to elanor rigbys.. sorry dont know the adress off hand...

I go to Dr. Levine's practice too. Dr Nodelman, Levine and Valderrama are the ones I've seen most... there are a couple other Drs but I really don't know them.
This is my 2nd PG with them and I've had good experiences with that practice both times.

Dr. Jeffrey Miller was my gyno when I lived in Nassau. He is very calming and reassuring [I've had a few colposcopies and a D&C performed by him.] I was living in Suffolk when I got pregnant so I don't have experience with him as an OB, but I have friends that see him and love him. The practice has several doctors in it, so you'll have to see all of them as an OB patient. Their office is conveniently located on Stewart Ave. right off of the Meadowbrook Pkwy. I would recommend them.
