Obnoxious comment from friend
So I finally shared my pg news with my friends this weekend and one of my friends who is single and has always been bitter and jealous actually had the nerve to say:
"Oh, you are due in February. HAHAHAHAH, you'll be big and fat for Christmas!!"
Do people think?

Totally uncalled for. It's people like that with that negativity that you need to avoid and not listen to. She's just bitter. I must have missed your pregnancy announcement.....Congratulations !!!!

That comment was so ridiculous it's almost not worth getting annoyed over. Of course you'll be big - you'll be 7 months! And while everyone else will be getting FAT from overeating, you will be beautiful and pregnant. People are so stupid.

Wow, I feel really bad for her. She sounds so sad and jealous. I would have replied, yes, big, fat and happy.

Thank you for all of the support, ladies!
I know it is jealousy. And what is even funnier is that this girl's younger sister had a baby a few years ago in February and she treated her the same. Actually when she made her comment to me she prefaced it by saying I would be like her sister. I know that with her sister she was jealous because her younger prettier sister was having a baby and she was still single.
Unfortunately she is a jealous person who has been struggling to find herself for many years. She moved to Florida to chase a guy she met on the internet and then came back here when he broke up with her. I love her but I feel sad that she is so bitter.
Thank God I have another friend who just had a baby and is very happy for me (so much she squealed and hugged me) and she told me not to worry about anything and don't let anyone scare me with stories.
People are so weird!!

wow.....you poor thing....i'm about as peggers now as you will be in dec - its not so bad! (its fun!) don't worry - suddenly when you are preggers.....people forget their manners completely!

i had my son in febuary and even tthough i gained alot of weigth with that pregnancy everyone said that i was glowing and looked beautiful on christmas and so will you dont listen to your friend and feb is a great month to give birth
