Ocean City Maryland Hotels
We are looking to go to Ocean City this summer and are looking for a hotel on the boardwalk, We will have our 20 month old with us. Anyone have any suggestions of where to stay?

Re: Ocean City Maryland Hotels
How picky are you? Have you ever been there before?
I am only asking because I have been a million times and the hotels are pretty bad down by the board walk....not to mention VERY pricey!
Last time we went, we stayed at a Holiday Inn up town and it was nice but a few blocks to the beach. If you have a baby that could be a hassle.
The Dunes Manor (main hotel) is decent, nothing special and dont book the motel part because it is a dump! Also the hilton should be nice, not on boardwalk but not far either. I think its pricey and I cant never seem to get a room, its always booked!
Sorry if I am no help :(

Re: Ocean City Maryland Hotels
check out VRBO.com and you might get a better rate renting someones condo rather than a hotel room.

Re: Ocean City Maryland Hotels
I have to agree with the Condo rental...we rented last year and it was much cheaper than the hotel we were considering. We rented on the Boardwalk in a 1-bedroom and loved the location with our 16 month old, since we could get home really quickly if we needed to and we had a balcony to people-watch from at night when she was sleeping. Hotels we like are the Commander, though its starting to get a little worn, and the new Holiday Inn on the Boardwalk. There is also a Courtyard Marriott opening this spring that looked pretty neat when they were building it last summer. If you decide to rent, we have always had luck with Coldwell Banker.

I would use Coldwell Banker and rent a condo...that is your BEST bet with OC. Hotels in OC aren't the greatest.
I always rent through here:
