October Mommies how are you feeling & what have you done so far to prepare?

My due date is still set for the 24th. I recently had my shower this past weekend. Currently DH is putting things together like the bassinet, swing, bouncer, pack n play and strollers.

I wanted to do those ahead of time because the days have been getting busy and time is flying.

Lamaze starts in September and I have a pediatrician appt this Friday. The nursery is almost done too. DH has to put up shelves and that's pretty much it.

Overall I'm feeling great

How's it going for you? What have you done or need to do so far?

Hi ladies! C-section is set for 10/3 so I have 34 more days! Can't believe it! We just need the crib, the rest of the room is set. Maybe an area rug. The only thing not put together is the swing, which I figure we may wait on since it takes up room and I don't know if I will use that right out of the hospital. Tired, tired and more tired and a little nauseous again, not really liking food. Last night I think was trying to come through my belly button! It definitely is pushed out even more today!

We have two appts with pediatricians also!

hey october moms!!!

i am still on bed rest and my contractions are getting stronger and more painful. but as of 32 weeks i was not dilated and 30% effaced. we'll see what happens at my 34 week appt on tuesday... other than that, i've been having some serious heartburn and the baby likes to hang out in my ribs, which HURTS oh, and my belly feels LARGE

baby's nursery is pretty much ready, except my glider arrives in 2 weeks, and my mom has made a bunch of accents for the room that aren't here yet. i still feel a little unsettled, like i have so much stuff to do!!! but i'm trying to take things one day at a time

I am due the 14th. I have been feeling great despite a trip to L&D on Monday because the pressure was so bad and it was hard to walk. Turns out I was dehydrated. I feel just about fine now.

I feel like we have a lot to do, but I don't think it should take that long.
We just had a mural painted in the nursery so by next weekend we will move all the furniture into place and the crib should be arriving in the next two weeks. We are not going to build any of the swings and suff until about 3 weeks beforehand - I don't need something else to dust!

I washed all of the newborn clothes, made an appointment at the church for the baptism "prep" class for mid September. I am meeting with a Pediatrician tonight and I should decide on Daycare within the next couple of days.

Hi Ladies...home stretch YAY!!!!! We have the nursery almost done, we had the shower this past weekend, so havent put much together yet. Maybe this weekend we will start. I am DEF> feeling LARGE! We are trying to find a truck or minivan that we like, and get the house organized, I go back to school next week, so I am stressing about whether or not i can do it, but we shall see.

Hey October Gals!!

Only 5 more weeks...I'm def. ready to have this baby! DH and I just finished out Lamaze class which was great! We're still working on the nursery which has a long way to go. I think my shower is coming up-but i'm not sure. We're also trying to orgnaize the house and getting everything in place but it's kinda hard since we're in the middle of renovations I'm hoping that everything will work out, just trying to take everything one day at a time.
