Odyssey vs. Sienna
We are torn
odyssey supposedly drives better more affordable only has LATCH system in 3 seats no 4 wd or all wheel drive
sienna has LATCH system in every seat 4wd 3 seats in 2nd row, can fit 3 car seats supposedly is "lack luster" in driving
any input?

Re: Odyssey vs. Sienna
i just went through this and wound up with the sienna...
we originally were sold on the sienna for the AWD, but then pricing out what we wanted (backup camera was a must) made the car 40K+ and the dealerships weren't playing ball with respect to pricing. once we decided we were not going to get the AWD, we considered the odyssey again and were torn. you can't go wrong with either, and in the end we got the sienna because the price was right for a model they had on the lot, plus i just personally like the look better.
the one thing i hadn't considered but am really happy came with the car, are the parking assist sensors. i am super paranoid with not being able to see something, and these plus the backup camera make me feel better...
what i can't do now is park to save my life

Is this a 2010 Sienna? If so, it must be a new feature. I have an 8 seater Sienna and it has 5 Latch seats, not 6. My friend has a 7 seater and it has 4 Latch seats. The seat in the 3rd row behind the driver is not Latch equipped. I guess it's still 1 more than the Odyssey but the 2 in the rear are side by side so it's really not possible to put 2 seats back there but it would allow you to use the Latch for 1 seat in 2 different places.
I don't know what lackluster to drive means really - my Sienna handles very well and I ahve zero complaints in 3 years except who needs so many cupholders LOL. My SIL has an Odyssey and she loves it so I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Re: Odyssey vs. Sienna
we looked at and test drove both and just preferred the look and the way the Odyssey drove. To us, it seemed to have better pick-up. And personally we were not fans of the wood grain in the Sienna. They are both great cars though. Also, when we looked Honda offered 0% financing and Toyota did not.

yes, sorry, my mistake. It has 4 latches and I really like the fact that the latch in the 3rd row is on the end, much easier to buckle a baby in.

Re: Odyssey vs. Sienna
I have the Odyssey and I love it. I researched both vehicles and I preferred the Odyssey for all of the reasons you mentioned but also because of the vehicle maintenance / reliability.
