go to some temp recruiting agencies, they usually have tons of retail jobs opening up that they need to fill for the holiday season, good luck!

Not off-hand, but DH had a friend once who worked for someone in a lot selling Xmas trees at night and on weekends and supposedly he brought in a few grand cash in a month.
If we ever get snow, maybe plowing/shovelling?

babysitting for ppl when they go to holiday parties or filling in for babysitter/nannies who call in sick and the family needs someone in a pinch?
dog walking/ pet sitting /house sitting when people go away to visit families in other cities for the holidays
