Offer Question
OK I found a house we like: It is being sold "as is" Do you put an offer in right away? Do you have a person look at the house first then offer? Or you offer, they counter yadda yadda say u then say ok do u then have a guy come in?
But if it is "sold as is" it means they wont fix anything BUT they can negotiate price? right?
PLease give me some advice
TIA! PS we have never put in an offer it is allllllll new to us!

Re: Offer Question
well, first you put your offer in, then if they accept you then bring in an engineer and termite inspection. Even if the house says sold "As Is" you should ALWAYS still have an engineer check it out. Yes, then sometimes negotiate the price after the engineer's report. As is means they won't do anything, but they can alter the price.
