i finally did the initial test
pushups i did 9, so rank 2 situps i did 20 poor squats i did 30 good
now hopefully i remember and find the time to stick with this and improve

Week 2 completed - I agree it IS getting tough - tomorrow I will do my exhaustion test for each one and see how I do before going on to wk 3!

Thank! I actually threw my back out! I think I was using bad form when it was getting tough. I'm going to take a break for a few days.

Thank! I actually threw my back out! I think I was using bad form when it was getting tough. I'm going to take a break for a few days.
Oh no!!!!
You MUST keep your core tight - if you dip in the middle that is MURDER on your back - that is how I know when my form is off - my back starts to hurt immediately while doing it....
Feel better! I am losing people on this thread!!!!

Just started week 4, and I swear - my body has changed quite a bit - I was not expecting that at all and am pleasantly surprised. I also banged out each set of push ups with so much more ease and fluidity! I am very happy witht he results!!!!!

I don't want you to feel lonely ~ especially since I've been so committed to doing this.
This was from last night--
Week 4/Day 3
Sit-ups (level 3) set 1 45 set 2 50 set 3 45 set 4 45 set 5 max (at least 60)- did 70
Squats (level 3) Day 3 set 1 40 set 2 45 set 3 40 set 4 40 set 5 max (at least 54)- did 54
Push-ups (level 1) set 1 16 set 2 18 set 3 13 set 4 13 set 5 max (at least 20)- did 20

It's taking a lot longer to do this now that the sets are larger. Last night I did them all at once, letting the break be a set of the other exercises. It still took me 45 minutes to complete it. (Otherwise, it takes me 1-1/2 hours. But I'm also watching TV while I do it.)
Liza (and anyone else still doing this), how have you been managing the sets?
