Officially back ON the wagon - need advice!
I am done BFing, and done with the excuses. I have a total of 22 lbs to lose. Goal #1 is 7 lbs.
What was YOUR success story?
I cannot afford anything like WW - my health plan has to be free

Re: Officially back ON the wagon - need advice!
I lost 90 pounds 12 years ago. I've kept it off by following WW pretty closely in that time.
If I fall off the wagon a bit its usually because I am not tracking. For me tracking is essential.
You can track for free on sparkpeople or thedailyplate.
They will give you calorie goals.

Re: Officially back ON the wagon - need advice!
I honestly think you can do WW without being a member. I do it online (aka I don't go to meetings).
I know how many points to use and how to figure out points. That's all there is to eat. It's pretty easy to figure out how many points you need daily.
I love www.skinnytaste.com (gina's ww recipes). They are yummy and you can just use that.

I did Atkins/ low carb...
Its the best option for me bc I am gluten sensitive and prefer meat and veggies anyway
oh, and I used Fitday.com to track carbs and calories- and just keep track of what I was eating

Re: Officially back ON the wagon - need advice!
I used myfitnesspal.com to track calories and I did the C25K running program. Since March I have lost 35 pounds and now have about 15 to go. Honestly I did not diet at all, I just tracked what I did eat and that alone helped me to make decisions during the day as to what I would (or would not) eat. Good luck!

Re: Officially back ON the wagon - need advice!
I wasn't a fan of WW. I know it works but the constant counting just didn't work for me.
Right now I'm back on the wagon as well and I met with a trainer and he gave me a great diet to follow that I'm eating a ton of food and after 2 days I feel about 1000 times better.
Send me an email - I can go over it with you - xxoo

Re: Officially back ON the wagon - need advice!
Octmommy08 turned me onto myfitnesspal.com It really is a great calorie counting site. Plus you can track exercise as well. They even have carrying around a toddler listed as exercise
As far as eating healthy. You can never go wrong upping your veggies. They are "no point" foods with weight watchers and are really helpful in keeping you feeling full.
I also try to keep up on my intake of fiber. Another wonderful way to keep yourself feeling fuller.
And when beginning to diet I did stick with the same menu/foods in rotation. It was easy to learn that way and then as I got better with calorie counting I'd be able to swap out certain things.
Good luck....but I think you already look amazing!!
