Oh man...what do you do when your colleagues don't get along famously?

Just curious. Let's say you have to work with a few other people closely. Closer than the rest of the staff. And let's say they don't feel the love and that you are the most neutral and hear it from the others. How do you remain neutral?

My colleagues never get along! I just ignore it or beg them to make up so we can work in peace.

My position forces me to talk to everyone at the school, so I have an agree to disagree attitude - and if people start bad mouthing, I just say nicely, I don't want to hear it/This isn't the place/I have to work with them too/I'm friendly with them/I like that person, etc. Eventually they get the hint.

I would just be friendly to both and stay out of it. Or I would not work closely with them if possible.
