Oh Shoot! HELP!
What happens if I accidentally left the fridge door wide open for at least 3 hours??? Does everything have to be thrown out?

Wellllllllllll, if it were me - I'd throw out dairy and keep everything else.
No, I'd actually smell/taste the dairy and if it smelled/tasted OK I'd keep it.

thank you.
LOL.
I looked it up online when no one was responding and most people on other forums said throw things out just to be safe. Everything was still cold and looked good, but I threw out the eggs, sour cream and mayonnaise anyway... I was more worried about the jams and condiments in the door, but they looked and smelled OK... When I go to use something, I am just wary of it now but everything seems fine!

Oh Shoot! HELP!
I would not have thought twice about keeping everything. There are plenty of times that my grocery/shopping trip takes two hours.
