Oh yeah, and one more thing...
What kind of POS do you have to be to take advantage of a frail, sick, kind-hearted elderly person?
Someone stole my father's checks and has deposted two of them, withdrawing over $5k from his account, and has been trying to open a credit card account with his information.
It looks like the checks were stolen in August, when my father was living with me, with a full-time aide. I can pretty much guarantee it was one of them, most likely the one we fired for being shady and obnoxious.
Seriously, what kind of sinister, evil monster can you be???

We are going through something similar. We just found out someone opened a credit card in DH's name  I dont understand how anyone would do that to another person.

ugh! thats such a shame!! really, what kind of person does that to a sick, elderly man??
i worry about this alot, too- my grandmom had a stroke a little over a year ago, and got kicked out of the nursing home she was in (lol long story there) so now she has a live-in aid at her house full time, and it just worries me so much with this kind of stuff. luckily my uncle lives in an apartment attached to my grandmoms house, so hes got all of her important paperwork in there... but still! so sad that people like this exist!

OMG!!!! I don't understand how people can take advantage of others like that. I mean, if your dad didn't have you now to help him solve the issue, what would happen?? This angers me to no end! How can people believe that they can just take someone's personal information and not have any quams about doing so?!? I hope whoever it is is caught and jailed for identity fraud

My father filed a police report, notified the agency, and put a fraud alert on his credit agencies.
I just wish they'll find the MFer, so I can find him and BEAT HIS ARSE!
