oil delivery/pricing
Our 1st home had gas and I loved it.
We now have oil and I have no clue what a good price is for oil. Or should we do contract or no contract,
Can someone fill this rookie in on how this all works.
TIA

Re: oil delivery/pricing
How old is the burner?
Personally, I prefer to do a service contract with a company and then do COD drops.. IMO it's cheaper and I prefer to have control over what I use/spend.

Not sure if the exact age, but it is old. I called Perillo since that is who the old owners used and they will be coming out tomorrow to go over pricing.
So I can do a contract with COD deliveries, I assumed with a contract it would be automatic deliveries. I would also prefer to call when we need it and not be on automatic. But I do want a contract.

Check out Heat USA; it's a heating coop. I'm a part of it... they only charge $25 for service and you can get the oil from them or whoever else and you are NOT in contract with them so you can break it at any time.
with the way the oil prices have been fluctuating, I intend on doing this until I can lock in one a price... right now, many aren't allowing you to lock in...
