Oil rates?

Has anyone called around for any rates this week? Are you locking in or no?

Re: Oil rates?

They are 4.50 and up - I don't think we are going to lock in. I also got an offer to set a cap at 4.89/gallon but if oil is cheaper I get the cheaper price - we are considering this

Re: Oil rates?

My husband is an oil salesman for Slomins so if you need any info fm me know and I will have him contact you. I think they are the cheapest on the market right now!

Re: Oil rates?

I just made my decision today! instead of locking in we went with a floating price with a price ceiling. So we pay $4.29 and if the price goes down we pay the lower price and if the price goes up we are capped at $4.99. The last time oil went up in price it did eventually come down a little - so that is what we are hoping for. Also the cheapest lock in price we found was 4.69 so after we did the math we figured out if we get capped at 4.99 it we would only work out to be about $200 more for the year.
