Re: Oil Tank Replacement

We converted to gas this year... but when we got an estimate for that, we were told it would costs about $2K if we replaced our really old tank instead (it was in our basement also).

Re: Oil Tank Replacement

it was about $1500. we went with the compnay that Petro, our oil company recommended. they pumped out the old tank, removed the old tank, installed the new one and some fittings, but not all the pipes, and pumped the oil back in. It took about 4 hours. We looked into converting to gas but It was going to be about $19,400 just to move the lines to our house!Chat Icon Apparently nobody near us has gas! ETA we are s. shore nassau too.

Oil Tank Replacement

We used windmill oil tank service. I think they are in the Smithtown area. I think we paid around 3k total to abandon n underground tank and put a new one outside. We got the most costly model they had at the time because the tank had to be put outside. You may be able to get away with a cheaper model since it will be indoors and not exposed to the elements...
