Re: oily hair help!
I am loving L'Oreal Everpure because it is sulfate-free and my hair is MUCH less oily and a lot healthier now.
I have ONLY seen it at Stop and Shop in Coram. It's fairly new.

My hair was gross too - until I stopped using conditioner! Now I shampoo twice and it is looking much better!

Try Aussie Cleanse & Mend. DD uses it and it's getting her through the throes of puberty.

Re: oily hair help!
My fave shampoo WAS Salon Selectives for oily hair... they don't make that anymore. They make so few shampoos for oily hair My current faves are matrix and Loreal Vive. The brilliant brunette and others in that line are good too. I also use Loreal kiddie shampoo, nice DH has tons of extra from when his mom worked there. It works really well!! I just buy whatever doesn't say extra moisturizing or for dry hair or types like that, and I switch shampoos every few weeks. My hairsytlist has me using a clarifying shampoo but IDK if it's doing anything lol
Here are my tips, from someone who has had oily hair her entire life lol
I don't use conditioner at all. I ONLY use it after I dye my hair, for a month or so, to help keep the color looking bright. I ONLY use loreal vive for colored hair at that time. Also, I can't wash my hair every day or it looks really gross. I wash it every other day.
Make sure you rinse your hair really well!! Drying w/a hairdryer helps keep the oiliness at bay, but i'm to lazy lol. So I comb it when I get our of the shower and a time or two when it's wet - if I only comb it once it looks too greasy. And, of course, try not to touch it too much!!
I have heard of putting baby powder or cornstarch on you hair to soak up some of the oil but I have never tried that.
Um, that's all I can think of off the top of my head. HTH
