Ok -- another christening gown question -- with pics and Poll!
Which Christening gown do you like best?
Linen gown titled "Sydney" is a family gown because it isn't overly girly and can be used for a girl or boy-comes with both bonnet and cap:
Annalise gown is a fine cotton knit and comes with bonnet, sweater, blanket and gown:
Addison gown can be used for a boy or girl -- another family gown -- made of linen and comes with bonnet and cap"
Abigail gown is made of cotton and has smocking on the top and arms - comes with matching bonnet, booties, bib and blanket:
Alexa Rose gown is a fine sweater knit and comes with bonnet and blanket:

the website is called onesmallchild.com and they are VERY inexpensive too. The most expensive one i posted is $125 but they have a lot of gowns that are beautiful and under $75

Re: Ok -- another christening gown question -- with pics and Poll!
I went to TriCounty flea market in Levittown which is also a big place like Attias and I didn't like ANYTHING that they had there. Everything was satin and had beading and I just don't want any of that. It's going to be in July and so itll be so hot for that plus it's just not my style. They did have good prices, most were around $60-70 but I didn't see anything I liked.
My sister is also getting her baby baptised in August and she was looking at boutiques in Sayville and all of the cotton and linen ones were like $250+ so really for similar dresses at this place they are half the price.

I voted for #2 - Annalise but all are beautiful.
I thought #1 was too thin - if you look at the picture, her skin is seen through the material.

I like the sheerness -- it is Linen so it is supposed to be sheer -- and comes with a slip so really the only "sheer" part will be the arms.

The christening is on July 9th which is why I tried to pick cotton gowns -- many of them are of a very lightweight cotton lawn matterial or linen. The gown is for my daughter, Emily.

We've pretty much narrowed it down to the abigail and one other gown. I love the abigail because it comes with so much -- booties, a bib, the bonnet, the slip ... most gowns just come with the bonnet and the slip if it's a gown that requires one --- yet the price is cheaper then some that come without those accessories...right now I think it's between these two gowns, I just wish that the other gown came with tons of pictures so I can really make a decision:
