Ok - next steps
I am 99% certain TBAF is on her merry little way. 
I need to find a new OBGYN bc I was not all that happy with my old one...and they really didnt seem to take my concerns about TTC seriously, so I am going to find a new one.
About a year ago, I had the tests done where they measured my cycle to see if I was O'ing (I was) - this was at the RE. Their office has since closed (great).
I want to find an awesome dr and be prepared with questions and know of specific tests that need to be done. Can you guys fill me in on some? I know last year they mentioned a test where they inject dye into my tubes (hypo-something?) We didnt continue with it because I switched jobs and put off active TTC for a little while.

You should find yourself a good RE. In my opinion OBGYN's are just not as up to date on all the info as an RE is. And once you go to the RE, you will stick with him/her throughout all testing and procedures - so they know your case inside and out. JMO...

I totally agree with Gerty. WHere are you located? I am sure someone on this board can recommend an RE for you - are you in Jersey??

yep in NJ. So I should first make an appt with an RE and not a GYN? I guess when I get PG  then I would move over to an OB/GYN?

Yes I would make an appt with an RE also. When you get PG in most cases the RE will recommend a OBGYN.

I agree with all of the girls.
The test you referred to is a hysterosalphingogram, it is one of the first tests (besides a semen analysis) that is usually doene.

An RE is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and specializes in fertility. This is the Dr. that can help you GET pregnant. The OB simply helps you once you ARE pg. The GYN helps you with general gynecological health and well-being. Genreally women get pg on their own and automatically move from the GYN to the OB. But when getting pregnant is not so easy, you need a specialist and that is what the RE is there for.
I know leighla and luvsun both saw REs in NJ - not sure where tho. I really would recommend this at this point for you.
