Ok - You were all right -

My post last week about the Red Satin Peep Toes .....I got them in the mail the other day, I opened the box and almost PIMP laughing -
I didn't even bother to take them out of the plastic, much less put them on my feet - Back in the box and back to Zappos they went !!

Oh well, I guess they're a bit too much in red - I'll start the search for Black instead. Back to my BORING, ultra conservative ways . -

If you don't remeber, these are the shoes- I guess I had a servere temporary lapse in judgement, or possibly an identity crisis -

Re: Ok - You were all right -

see now...I LOVE red shoes.

a little deeper in color though.

I NEVER wear black shoes with a black dress. ever.

In fact, I don't own a pair of black dressy dress shoes (although I will get a pair just to have around)

I would love those shoes if they were less orange red, more blue red.

Re: Ok - You were all right -

That's what I thought - but they are REALLY bad -
The heel is patent and the upper is Satin - I was hoping for a full Satin shoe, in a deep red. - I wanted something to spice up my black dress collection !! - I hate wearing black shoes w/ a black outfit -
But these .......looked like I should be on a street corner (as my Grandma would say)

Re: Ok - You were all right -

maybe if you got a little lower heel they wouldnt have the same PIMP effect.

i saw a bunch of cute ones on zappos from steve madden.

maybe try going to DSW too.

In Satin ? Everything I have seen from Steve Madden is patent - I already have a dark red/burgandy patent and a black suede -
I want something I can wear to a Wedding, Cocktail party etc -
I'll check again -

Re: Ok - You were all right -

I have red shoes I wear with black dresses. They have a little bit of a black accent on them. I will try to find a picture.

Re: Ok - You were all right -

I think the platform also makes it look more pimp-like. Maybe just a peep toe but no platform?

Re: Ok - You were all right -

I know - I'm not a fan of the platform -
I wanted a very simple Peep toe with a decent heel (about 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inches)
I can't find it ANYWHERE !! -

I think I talked myself into these knowing exactly what my reaction was going to be when I actually saw them in person !! -
