No, thankfully. We're in such a hilly area, and I think we have good drainage here.

YES! In front of our house it's a lake!
I'm not home now, but last night when we had that insane rain I thought the water was going to continue to rise to our front door. I have to keep my car parked on another street because it's so low to the ground.

I'm in a basement apartment and I just opened the door, which is at the bottom of a stairwell...and there's a huge floor there. So I have to keep the back door shut  .
The road I'm on is flooded too....but it always floods

Yup, I'm in Lindenhurst and our block always floods. I was going to go move my car, but it seems to be stopping so should go down..hopefully. I also just found a leak in my apartment. In the doorway to my stepsons room and foyer..all over my carpet..I am PIZZED!!!! And the landlady snuck off with her exhusband this morning so I can't even get her to get someone in here!!

we are on a high block and the neighbor said shes here 40 years and this happened once 25 years ago!!!! It was scary a truck was trying to get through and my lawn had crashing waves on it! the rain was 3 feet high in the street. and now poof! like it never happenned!!!! all gone!

That happened to us last night...amazing! SCARY!
Then...all of the sudden...gone

We live relatively close to the water so the neighboring blocks by us are always flooded. It's such a PITA.

Huntington isn't known for their great "drainage". 
We have high water tables here (lots of ponds), so flooding is pretty common.
