Paris says all women marry at my age. when i got into the ball I saw this handsome man. his eyes are like diamonds when the light up the night. His lips are red like a rose.

Monday

Dear Diary,

Friar Lawrence agrees to marry me and Romeo secretly marry me and Romeo. My dear cousin Tybalt challenges Romeo to a dual and wants to kill him for intruding the ball. When romeo got in the way Tybalt goes to stab Romeo and he killed Mercuito. No i am sad that my husband Romeo is now banished to mantua.

Dear Diary,

Before Romeo got banished I had an hour to spend with him. In the morning Romeo heard the lark instead of the nightingale. we both heard the larks song and he had to depart to mantua. I remembered how I gave my nurse a ring to give to my husband in Friar Lawrence's cell. It breaks my heart to think about it.

Tuesday

Dear Diary,

Romeo left for mantua. My father says that I have to marry Paris or I will be put in the streets to die. I want to see is Friar can help me to miss or get me out of this wedding to Friar. Friar told me to be brave woman. He said i have to give consent to to her dad to marry Paris. (i know she is missing something here but I never read the book please help in this spot ty)
He then said to have the nurse out , drink the potion , it will only make it look like i am dead.

Dear Diary,

My nurse was coming to wake me up, but she found me "dead".Instead of a wedding , my family had to have a funeral and place me in the Capulet vault. I knew I would wake up. Friar sent Romeo a letter about the plan, about my "death" I was not scared, Frair and Romeo would show up. Friar sent Romeo a letter about the plan, about my "death". and save me.

It is Thursday and I should be awake soon. I am still in my deep sleep. I am not scared Romeo shall be here soon.

Paris and his servant came to pay their respects to me. Romeo and Balthazar are on there way. Balthazar says he saw my body being taken to the tomb. He swears I am dead. Romeo believed him and went to see Apothecary to get a poison. Romeo breaks in to my tomb, he then turns to me and says his good byes. He then drank that awful poison. Before he dies he fulfills Paris last wish , with respect, and slain him. Romeo dies.

I woke up.

Romeo is dead with a bottle of poison in his hands still.

Can I make some changes right in the text or would that be too confusing? I don't think I have picked up Romeo and Juliet the play in about 20 years but I read it a few times as an English major. I did get to see it on stage about 10 years ago. Maybe I can help. I can be a stickler for grammar when I want to be and if you do not mind me changing that, I can tweak a few little things!

working on it.....you caught me after I took something for my neck pain, but I am going to try to finish before the meds kick in . It's from that car accident and I still haven't been to your favorite chiropractor friend yet!!!

Okay, I worked on it as much as I could. I could have stayed up all night reading on the internet about this play. When it comes to Shakespeare, you can never really be done studying it. I have my copy of this play on the top of my closet and I know I have notes in it but I will be up all night if I start to read what I wrote in college!!!! Anyway, this project is fun, right up my alley!!!!!

So, this is my editied version of your "report." Then, below the line, I put some notes and explanations:

Some comments:
I am not sure which of these scenes took place on the same day. Did you double check that with the play?

Monday: I think that at the time Tylbalt stabs Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet have already married. Romeo’s excuse for not wanting to fight is because Tybalt is technically now his relative but I don’t think Tybalt would have known that yet.

I changed what you had about the lark’s song because the lark’s song signifies the morning. At first, Romeo thought he heard the lark, but Juliet said it was a nightingale which would mean they have more time until the morning. She also thought that maybe the light was from a meteor and that it was not really morning. Eventually they both heard the lark. It was not that one of them heard the lark and the other heard the nightingale.

As for the Friar telling Juliet to give consent to marry Paris, he tells her to do that just so that she can go to sleep alone that night but the real plan is that she will take a poison so that she appears to be dead before she has to marry Paris. Juliet and the Friar make than plan together and the Friar is supposed to notify Romeo so he can save Juliet. This is because both the Friar and Juliet agree that death is her only way out of this marriage. The plan was for her to wake up and run off with Romeo.
