If you're really concerned, I would call the Dr...can't hurt to be too cautious. I'm sure I would be nervous too, especially how in-tune we get with our bodies.

Re: ok getting myself nervous here....TMI

My fluid was leaking with my first son so I had to be induced, albeit only 10 days early. I would call your doctor about it today. I wouldn't wait until Monday.

Definitely call the dr... try not to get nervous, but definitely make the phone call... either way it will ease your mind and let you know what is going on. And its Friday, so you want to have a calm weekend, without worrying about it until monday! Good Luck! Let us know what happens!!

If you are concerned call your Dr. Worst case scenario they would take your baby early. Most babies by 34 weeks are safe to come out. My best friend has her abies at 29 weeks and they are perfect now. At least if this IS whats going on they can give you steroids or put you on bedrest. Call your DR!

Don't freak! If you are concerned call the doc.

BUT, the last few weeks I was very wet also. I kept thinking I was leaking, but I wasn't. Now that I am looking back at pics, I look smaller and lower at 40 weeks than I did at 38. It could be the position of the baby.

I would go. Better safe than sorry. I went to the hospital one with really bad cramping - it was ligament stretching. But I was in and out of there fairly quickly. Good luck!

Re: ok getting myself nervous here....TMI

OK if it was a LOT..you would know, no doubt about it, it would be dripping out like you were peeing yourself and you would start to get contractions.

If its just a little. Fluid can and does rebuild itself ( replenish..nto sure the terminology)....you can lay with your feet up and it should get better.

IF you dont want to go to the hospital and just wait till Monday.

If you think you will freak all weekend.....then I would go for peace of mind.

WHY cant your dr's office see you , are they in tommorow?

I dont know WHY they constantly send us to the ER or To the hospital. You can go to L & D though .

Re: ok getting myself nervous here....TMI

I had the same thing. DR sent me to hospital where they do a test to see if you leaked any fluid. I wouldn't take any chances- I would go!!
