Ok girls, teach me...
I'm out- I just started to spot.... Im sure AF will be here full force by tomorrow morning...
We have decided to give it one more month, despite the fact our timing would be a little "off".
Last month I went into it blindly, I bought the opk almost a week after AF ended, tested for 7 days and kind of just winged it from there...
Af usually last about 5 days, give or take... So... whats my next step? When do I start using the OPK's? How often or when should I start to BD?

so when you were taking the kits, did you get a positive?
how long are your cycles usually?

Never got a positive, but it was my 1st month off the pill, AND I took them with FMU- not realizing they had to be taken in the afternoon.
My cycles use to be 28 days- this is my 2nd month of the pill, so I dont know my cycle just yet.

ok, so you dont know your cycles just yet.. just make sure you take the OPK's in the afternoon.. preferablly between 2-8pm.. and if you can.. hold it in for 4 hours.. so dont drink anything .. it will catch your surge much better.!!
so with that being said... if you were normally on a 28 day cycle i would just start taking the kit at CD10... or if you really wanted to you can start taking at CD8.. but i think CD10 should be good. hope this helps!

How many OPK should I buy?
when I get a positive is that when I should start to BD? Should I start before my positive?
How many days should I bd for after my positive? Do I continue to take the OPK after I get a positive?
Im really clueless....
My first one was a complete surprise, while I was taking BC... He is the orthtricyclin baby

Here's my plan idea for you:
Buy a pack of OPKs. I highly recommend the Clearblue Easy Digitals (with the smiley face). You should only need 1 package.
Start with OPKs on CD 10 (10 days after AF starts. CD 1 = first day of full flow AF). Test each afternoon between 2 and 8 pm after having held in your urine for 3+ hours.
BD every other day after AF ends until you get your +OPK. You'll probably get 2 days of +OPKs, so BD both days and the day after that. If you can manage one more day following that - go for it! Otherwise, you should be fine!
