Ok, going curtain shopping this week...
What do I need to know/bring with me?
I need everything! The curtain rods, curtains... you name it!
I know I need to measure... ack!

start by looking online at JC Penny. they have a great selection and good prices.

measure the length and width of not only the inside of the window but also the outside (molding to molding).
Also, if you are getting cafe curtains, measure the half window to see how long the material needs to be from the midway point to the bottom of the window.

Youll need rods, finials, and of course the curtains, possibly sheers too.

I would recommend Linens N Things too. They have a really nice selection of window treatments (including hardware) and you can use their 20% off coupons!!

Try Target and JCPenney. I prefer to rods and designs for polls at Target than anywhere else.
