Ok have another vehicle question for 2-3 kids! Talk to me about the Honda Odyssey. ***UPDATE***

If you didn't see my earlier post I'll sum it up here. We are getting a new car. We currently have 2 children (1 and almost 3). We plan to have probably one more in the next few years. My other post was about the Mazda 5. Now my husband is having doubts and wants to look into the Honda Odyssey. Anyone have it? Tell me what you love/hate about it!

Thank you so much for all the responses! I really appreciate the feedback! We found our car today! We put a deposit down on a 2010 Odyssey and got a great deal on it! We're picking it up on Saturday morning. I can't wait!! Thanks again!

Love it. its a 2012 model. leather, backup camera, DVD. I chose to lease it since I refuse to be a minivan mom forver.

I came from a T&C and world of a difference. rides better and the features and design are better.

have a 2012 model...and LOVE IT!!

I thought I was one of those anti-mini-van moms...and now that I have it I dont know what I did without it! I LOVE IT!

we have 3 kids in the 2nd row to allow for HUGE trunk space...but when we have my parent(s) in the car we put my oldest (5yrs) in the back.

we have leather, XM radio, back-up camera (LOVE THIS-i miss it when I drive my galant when by myself! haha), DVD player with wireless headphones (LOVE THIS too - my kids love this and make 1+hr trips heaven!

It rides so smoothly and does real well (i think for a van) on gas too!

DEF recommend!

I have a friend who has it with 3 kids and she loves it! She always says how it fits everything and then some...hth

Love it, we have a fully loaded 2008 that we bought used at a great price. With three kids, I'll never have anything but a minivan. It is the best.

We have a fully loaded 2010 (leather seats, back-up camera, DVD, etc.), and love everything about it.

I love the way it drives (feels like you're driving a car), how much storage room there is, how easy it is to get the kids in and out - can't imagine driving anything else!

I lease mine as well, bc after this lease is up, I plan to go into a truck.

That being said, I love the convenience of a van with younger kids. My boys are 5, 4, 21 months and 6 months. The automatic doors are second to none with all these kids! I open the door from inside, and the older ones run into the car and get themselves in as I am walking out with the others. I have my oldest in the back, and the younger two in the middle. It is just so easy to get to any of them.

My mom got a fully loaded Honda Odyssey 6 years ago. She never had any complaints about it. I even drove it a few times and it drives very well.

but just wondering those with 3 young children in carseats how do you have them set up? all in one row? Does it have a stow and go seat?

I will have 2 two year olds and an infant.

we just bought a van. we were choosing between the odyssey and sienna. we loved the inside of the odyssey and loved the exterior of the sienna. we ended up with the sienna...only bc the price was better and they had a better maitenance program included. they are both great, cant go wrong with either

We love it. We have a 2011, backup cam, leather, etc. but not the DVD package. It didn't pay for us to get the DVD player, it was a lot more money. We just bought a separate DVD player system.

It doesn't have stow and go seats. I didn't like the minivans with stow and go, because the people in the third row couldn't put their legs beneath the middle seats because of the stow and go parts.
