ok here we go AGIAN
so the truck the mechanic (BIL) looked at this morning was no good the truck last Friday waS no good
SO DH just brought another truck up to thye shop for him to look at ........SERIOUSLY I HOPE THIS IS THE ONE
I cant take anymore looking

If your BIL is a mechanic, he should know people that are looking to sell their truck. Many people mention it to them when they're in for service.
My sister & her husband mentioned last night they were considering selling their suburban. They were pretty sure it was going to be hard to find someone to buy it.

are you only going to private sellers? that is risky, why dont you go to a dealership? even on used cars they depending on the car/truck and year it may still be under warranty. or you can purchase an extended warranty really cheap too, so in case something does happen you are covered. buying from private not even a mechanic knows for sure if the cars parts are gonna fall apart after using it or if the speedometer was tampered with- only hooking it up to a machine can give them a pretty good idea but to just "look" under the hood, no way.
