OK I do have some good news
even though I'm personally feeling in the dumps, I can still recognize and appreciate the good things.
1) DH finally found and accepted a new job a little closer to home. He was commuting 2 hours each way every day. He only saw the kids about 1/2 hour a day and every 3 months he would work 7am - 11pm for an entire month and only see us on weekends.
His new commute is a little less than an hour now and they claim the hours are family friendly most of the time. We shall see
2) I think DD milk allergy is gone!! Over the last few days I've given her things with milk in it (bread, a few sips of milk, cheese, mac and cheese, etc) and NO reaction

That's awesome - both really really good things! Watch how exhausted he really will feel when he gets home early and has time to help out with the kids getting them fed, ready for bed, etc.
